Foundational Skills Development

This developmental activity is available for children aged 5 and above. It is typically held in small groups and takes place exclusively during the morning hours.

During this developmental activity, children work with LEGO bricks in a creative environment that supports complex skill development. Through the sessions, children develop logical thinking skills that they can rely on throughout their school years.

For children over the age of 5, the need for this type of support is determined at the beginning of the educational year, based on the results of the SOLE assessment. Our kindergarten has a dedicated development room, equipped and furnished in line with the tools and materials used in speech and language therapy centres. The sessions are led by our visiting speech and language therapist in the morning hours, in small groups of up to three children. Parents also receive guidance on how to support the recommended developmental activities at home.

During this session, we support the development of children’s mathematical logic in a focused way. These activities help build skills that not only support their understanding of numbers, but also help them recognise and understand the logical connections found in everyday processes.

to those available in a specialised developmental centre. This includes not only the necessary equipment, but also our cooperation with the MANÓHÁZ Development Centre. Within this partnership, the developmental specialists from MANÓHÁZ assess children’s abilities at our kindergarten, identify any possible developmental gaps, and provide expert recommendations for the necessary support. This may take the form of individual sessions, small-group development, or home-based exercises. For home-based development, parents receive professional guidance, exercise sets, and follow-up assessments. TSMT development is available for children aged 2.5–5 years.
